A really tough visit with mom and dad~
This visit was tough.
Dad seemed really confused as to who we were.
Mom looked and smelled like a hobo.
Actually, they both smelled and looked like hobos.
It is so hard to see them like this. They both took pride in
how they looked. Dad especially was always well groomed.
Mom always smelled like sunflowers.
Once again to see them like this
was mind blowing.
He seemed off in his own little world.
Always trying to say something and find his words.
She looked like grandma Dart to me today.
Poor dad, he would never want to live or look this way.
Kristin and I ventured to FC to buy her earrings. We grabbed lunch at
Jason's deli and ate at the park.
We arrived at Morning Star around noon and stayed for a little while.
It is truly so hard to see them like this.
Most days I question God as to why he still has them suffering like this.
If he is the maker of miracles, then why are these 2 wonderful people
still here living out such a dreaded disease.
I can accept them not being here, but I can't accept them living like this.
69 years of marriage and this is how they have to spend their last few years.
I am so sorry mom and dad that this has happened to you.
