Ringing in the new year Susan style~
Yesterday morning the moon was shining bright and it made for a wonderful photo op. The clouds were placed perfectly for a mysterious looking photo. A full moon to say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021 was just what I needed.
Today Kent is starting his WW and I have decided to join him in eating better. I will see how far I get. Brent and Noelle are starting also and I know they will succeed. I will trust my faith in 2021. Sunny and I went on a short mile walk. She loves the snow! My goal for the new year is to complete my 10,000 steps daily. I wish there was an app that would let me know how many I completed last year. I walked a lot because of covid.
I went to the fabric store yesterday. I get all soft and mushy when I see fabric on sale. I got 3 yards of fabric and 2 remnants for 11.00. Scrappy got a new fleece blanket for her bed and I got some snow fabric to make snowman applique.
We had Brother's bbq for lunch and left overs for dinner. Kent and I watched an Alfred Hitchcock movie and I went to bed at the usual time only to lie awake and listen to the fireworks bringing in the new year...they started at 8:00pm and went on until midnight. I guess you could say I was awake to ring in the new year.
My prayer for this year is simple. I want this covid thing to be over so we can get back to some kind of normal. I want to join the rec center again and I want to be the best grammy to my new grandchild due in April and I want to be in the best health I can be in for a fantastic year.
Today is a gift from God to I will open it and enjoy whatever he hands me. We made it through 2020 and now it's time to move through 2021.
