A Saturday visit with mom~

A Saturday morning visit with mom and Christmas carols.  She sang

Jingle bells and Deck the halls.  She had her eyes closed for most of the mornng,

but she still knew the words to the songs.

Kristin fixed her hair and put a little blush on her face.

She opened her eyes in the end and smiled really big.

Kristin and I went to the thrift stores and got treasures.  We got mom a new 

Christmas shirt and I got a few new practice tea towels.

Lunch was at Panhandler's pizza.

I got a red bird for my tree.  A cardinal means a loved one is watching

over us.  I know this is papa watching over our family.

It was a beautiful Saturday.
