Acknowledging the trauma of breast cancer~

The path to healing is a very long and curvy one.
I wish so much that it was a short path, one that had few bumps and turns,
but in reality, there is never a path like that.
I must learn to take my health and mental health in my own hands,
and trust the path that god has put me on, to heal myself.
The past 10 years, from cancer diagnosis to all that has followed since then
have been very hard on my body and mind.
Today starts the healing process.
Enough of dealing with the trauma, it's time to move on and take the steps
to feeling better.
Step 1.   acknowledge the trauma.
having breast cancer really sucks.
every bit of it has affected my life.
today, I will mindfully work through the past diagnosis and
move forward.
