Negative covid test, learning to use a fork, Augie and plans for Kansas~

Yay, a negative covid test.  Feeling so much better and starting to get my
taste back.
Kathryn's baby didn't make her appearance yesterday.  She is starting
her PTO today and having some much needed time off to
prepare for this little one.
We are all waiting patiently for baby Charlee to arive.

I think Augie is starting to grow on Kent.  It is so nice to have him
help around the house and help with the dogs.
Puppies are a lot of hard work, but when you share the load, it's easier.

I am teaching little peanut to use a fork to eat her eggs and french toast.
We practice many things throughout the day.  She keeps me going and for that
I am very grateful.

Tried to put her hair in a little band and she wanted nothing to do with it.
Within a matter of minutes it was at the end of her bangs.
Her hair always looks like it needs a good combing, but she hates
having it messed with.

We have had Augie for almost 2 weeks and he is fitting right in with the
family.

Sunny is really starting to play with him.
He actually went to grass on his own yesterday and went potty.
Baby steps with a new pupppy.

Oh Augie, thank you for coming into our lives.  You make me smile.

Plans for Kansas...
Kristin is so good at getting things done.  She has contacted people back in Newton
to help with the memorial for mom and dad.  Everyone should have
a Kristin in their lives.
We will head in on the 16th of Sept., have a memorial on the 17th, visit relatives on the
18th and head back on the 19th.
Kent will have the dogs, and I am sure I will hear all about how hard
they were to watch.
