Look into each other's hearts and eyes~
We are all looking down these days.
Down at our phones, down at our computers and down on our lives.
We don't interact with people anymore. We just hide our faces in our phones and
get lost in a world where we can change the app at a moments notice.
We forget to look into peoples eyes and really listen to them.
We are always waiting to speak instead of being still and letting them speak.
What have we become. A society where we judge and are critical and aren't
afraid to speak our mind. A society of wanting to follow a jerk that once was
president. They want to follow him again and he is crooked.
We move the homeless away from the only homes they know.
We pack up their precious treasures and make them move.
We need to get back to the kindness of the 60's and 70's where
people spread joy and love and kindness all around.
I went to the thrift store yesterday and found a few treasures.
I found 2 knock off fostoria glasses like my mom had.
She would bring these glasses out for special occasions.
I remember them at every holiday.
These kind of memories make me smile because when we packed
up their house, we got rid of everything. All the treasures that my mom and dad
collected went to be someone else's treasures.
I miss their little things and their little ways of making us always feel
special.
Go out and get what makes you happy. Go out and remember the past times
and the future times with a new glass or whatever makes you happy.
Life is too short to regret not having the things to remember the past.
Kent and Drew will be playing golf with the baseball boys today.
Safe travels down south boys.
